Goods receipt not possible for delivery &: error code 4

 Issue:

The user trying to post goods receipt in MIGO for Outbound Delivery. The Error M7865 "Goods receipt not possible for delivery &: error code 4" arises

Reproducing the Issue

1) STO created, with Confirmation Control Key.

2) Outbound delivery created.

3) Goods Issue posted.

4) Stock in stock in transit.

5) When trying to post the goods receipt (MIGO > Goods Receipt > Outbound Delivery) error M7865 appears, with error code 4 "There are no delivery items".

Reason

In this scenario, the only confirmation control key that it is supported is the one linked to output type SPED.

Solution

Ø  Check if SPED process is used. If we want to use the Confirmation Control, we will have to customize and use the condition type SPED and create the Inbound Delivery automatically.

 

Ø  No other confirmations are supported within this process. With the SPED an Inbound Delivery is generated for each Outbound Delivery, at the time of PGI with VL02N.

 

Ø  We can check it in the document flow of the Outbound Delivery. When there is confirmation control key, the goods receipt should be made with reference to the Inbound Delivery, and not with reference to the Outbound Delivery.
